Custodial Services Attendant:

Flexible Casual and Part Time hours available

The Operations Department at Prairieland Park currently requires casual CUSTODIAL SERVICES ATTENDANTS.

Shifts available are event driven and our facilities host a variety of events that showcase entertainment, tradeshows, banquets and many other private events. Shifts can vary from week to week including day,evening and weekend . Excellent flexibility for students, retirees or anyone wishing to work around an existing schedule and are unable to commit to a permanent shift each week.

Duties:

• all aspects of daily janitorial including the operation of commercial cleaning equipment such as auto-scrubbers.
• Provide excellent customer service to all our clients and visitors.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Mature, dependable, physically fit
• Energetic
• Have the ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Team player
• Willing and able to communicate pleasantly and effectively with clients, co-workers and guests
• Able to work to deadlines
• Able to pay close attention to detail
• A valid driver's license is required.
• While previous cleaning experience is an asset, training will be provided.

Part Time Operations Personnel:

Flexible shifts around your schedule

Saskatoon Prairieland Park currently requires part time / casual OPERATIONS PERSONNEL.

The purpose of this position is to provide specific services and support for all Prairieland Rental events, and to complete building maintenance projects.

The demand for part time personnel changes each week and is subject to specific event driven details. You can accept shifts based on your availability that week and shifts can include day, evening and weekend requirements. Priority of callbacks will be given to candidates with the greatest availability.

Duties:

• Temporary installation and/or removal of material required for individual events (to include: carpet, drape, tables, chairs and other décor material)
• Materials handling ( shipping/ receiving) of tradeshow related materials.
• Operation of forklifts, scissor lifts, snow removal equipment, subject to certification and demonstrated skill.
• Indoor and outdoor maintenance duties as assigned. ( painting, snow removal etc.)

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Physically fit
• Energetic, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Able to work to strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service
• Must be a team player, able to communicate pleasantly and effectively with customers, co-workers and guests
• Previous experience operating forklifts, bobcats, scissor lifts and tractors is preferred. Forklift certification would be an asset.

Prairieland Park provides a competitive hourly wage, with premiums to candidates with equipment certification.
